In this session, you will find the websites and mobile apps I use for trip planning and in-trip services. There is no claim that these are the best sites in that category … Dhristi.com is not responsible for the content of the linked external websites or their services.
My Preferred option is Online Travel agencies & experienced Consultants of Holiday Departments when its with my family and group involved trips.
All these years a Corporate self booking tool is used to search & book Flights, Hotels, Cars, Transfers & Other services … fulfillment by Travel Management companies.
Focus on where to Go and the areas of attraction. Shortlist 5-10 Places that matches the interest. Decide on a tentative travel period and Duration. Research on total trip expense (including the shopping budget, dining etc.)
Check for the best Flight & Hotel deals. Personally I won’t recommend to avoid peak season as many destinations are at its best and more beautiful during the season. Travel Insurance to protect baggage loss, delays etc. even if its not mandatory for Visa.
Planning is key. Visa arrangements to be done at least a few weeks before the travel (required cases). Pack baggage at least a few days before the Trip. Avoid things that are not allowed nor safe to carry. To avoid surprises please check the Expiry Date of Passport, Visa etc. at the Trip Planning stage itself.
If you are carrying Medicines its always good to include the Doctors Prescription or letter with it. Some countries the Medicine you carry may not be permitted so better to check the related websites before you arrive in that country.
Check-in online in all possible cases. For a relaxed trip try to be at airports a bit early. These days airports are beautiful and exploring the terminal, duty Free, lounges and facilities itself is a nice experience. eg. airports in Dubai, Bangkok, Kochi, Warsaw, Delhi etc. I love it.
TRAVELLING IS FUN .. EVERY TRIP IS A FRESH NEW EXPERIENCE … KEEP TRAVELLING … INSPIRE MORE PEOPLE TO TRAVEL.
